Man arrested for suspected hit and run | Crime

A driver hit a man riding a bike in North Portland Saturday night and then took off, according to reports made to KATU News. Now police say the suspected hit-and-run driver is under arrest.

A pickup truck driver was arrested about two hours later. Police said Lilifi Toutai faces a charge of hit and run.

The cyclist was struck at the intersection of Willamette Boulevard and Bryant Street just after 5:30 p.m. The cyclist was taken to the hospital with injuries that police said are not life threatening.
